Special Circumstances - Chapter 35 Only

Because Chapter 35 benefits are paid directly to the student, the VA requires that the school provide extra information to ensure that the correct person will be paid. The following instructions are for dependents of veterans receiving Chapter 35 benefits ONLY. If you, the student, are a veteran receiving Chapter 35 benefits, you may skip this section.

Please provide the full name of the person from whom you are receiving Chapter 35 benefits:

To complete your student file, the Registrar's Office will need to provide the veteran's Social Security Number to the VA.
DO NOT SUBMIT ANY SSN INFORMATION IN AN EMAIL. Instead:
1. Complete the rest of this form and hit submit.
2. Call the Registrar's Office at 410-778-7299 and ask to speak with the SCO.
3. Provide the veteran's SSN information over the phone.
The SCO will confirm that the student file has been updated once these steps are complete.
